| With all the events going on, Dr. Winters was the only one really invested in the exhibition, but they all managed to meet up at the exhibition to listen to Dr. Bronson's speech at 6pm. Just when the Dr. started to introduce the canopic jar and it's accompanying artifacts the light was shut off and gunshots were fired into the air, causing panic amongst the audience. The surprised guards were knocked down and a woman tried to swipe the canopic jar and merge into the running crowd, but Dr. Bronson interfered causing the jar to break and release its horrid content. Something unspeakable happened to her, captured only by photograph that a press agent shot into the darkness. While Fed and Augustus captured one of the perpetrators, Evelyn and Montgomery found the broken canopic jar next to Dr. Bronson's corpse, which seemed to have been drained of all body fluids. | With all the events going on, Dr. Winters was the only one really invested in the exhibition, but they all managed to meet up at the exhibition to listen to Dr. Bronson's speech at 6pm. | Horrified by the sight, the investigators decided to leave the scene, and split up after they found that the police had arrived to question all remaining guests. Montgomery and Fred decided to help out Inspector Drummond with their eye witness accounts and pointed out the importance of the camera picture. Dr. Winters questioned another visitor on her own and got pointed to Dr. Bronson's room. Meanwhile, Augustus tried to stay out of all of this by having fun with a bride's maid in his hotel room. Just as he was getting it on, a gelatinous creature attempted to envelop his head and suffocate him in front of his guest and he was barely able to rip it off. Unfortunately, the "thing" managed to escape into the ventilation system. | Horrified by the sight, the investigators decided to leave the scene, and split up after they found that the police had arrived to question all remaining guests. | | After meeting up in the lobby, the investigators decided to stick together and search for clues in Dr. Bronson's hotel room (1214). They found the room in a very well arranged state, with most things very neatly sorted and organized. On the desk were some index cards of specific exhibition objects that the Dr. seemed to have been working on, with translations and notes shedding light on Ibnhotep's curse and imprisonment. |
| | |
| | They concluded that with the right artifacts and rituals, Ibnhotep could be trapped in a different container. Losing no time they rushed to the expedition and found the entrance closed and guarded. While discussing their options around the corner, one of the blobs attacked and drained the guard allowing them to enter the ballroom and collect figurines, and amulets. Following a vague hunch about the "piercing rays of Geb" they stole a few pieces of a radioactive mineral from the exhibition area of a geologic conference held on the second floor. |
| | |
| | With all goods in hand they set up a trap in Augustus' hotel room, hoping that the blob would come back to finish "Oggi" off. However, not even an offering of his blood seemed to attract any blobs from the air vents. After waiting for a while Ibnhotep himself made his grand appearance. Having drained enough fluids to regain his humanoid shape, he emerged from the elevator and marched towards the thieves of his amulet. Ibnhotep's mere presence drove most of the investigators into a state of panic and despair, but Montgomery was exhilarated at the prospect to take Ibnhotep's power for himself. Tapping into the dark magic of the scarab amulet he attacked the monster head on and tried to drain ITS fluids, inflicting significant damage. Ibnhotep returned the favor, leaving Montgomery behind as little more than a dry husk. Augustus was taken out by a magical attack, leaving Fred as the last man standing. In a desperate attempt to capture the monster, he managed to put the prepared soup bowl over Ibnhotep's head, just as Evelyn managed to finish her prayer to Isis. Ear-shattering Curses were heard as the creature got sucked into the container, but silence returned once Fred put the honey-covered lid on to seal Ibnhotep away forever. |

| TBD | After a moment of recovering, Evelyn rushed to the lobby to get help and soon returned with two medics, hoping to save Montgomery's life. Meanwhile, Fred tried to hide the artifacts and cover the traces of the fight that just happened. The medics were shocked to see the priests state and rushed him out to a hospital. Later, another one retrieved Augustus for much needed treatment. |

| | Fred and Evelyn decided to return most of the "borrowed" artifacts. In the chaos nobody had yet noticed that they were missing in the first place. But Evelyn decided to keep the Shabti figurine that had undoubtedly saved her life. With a bit of bribery, both managed to flee the hotel through the delivery gate. |
| | |
| | A few days later, Evelyn, Fred and Augustus found curious little business cards for the "Brighton Private Investigators" in their pockets with an invitation to find the agency. No address, phone number or other information could be found on this agency, save for some P.O. Boxes in major cities. While unsuccessfully staking out one of the post offices, Augustus realized that the cards must contain a hidden code and indeed, the message was "6/6 11pm Dock 12". Who would be waiting for them...? |
