A somewhat aloof Jacob Dover welcomed her and was happy to use her as a hostage, thinking she belonged to the Mob. Augustus and Fred joined the attack to make sure she gets saved. | + | But it wasn't enough, a mass of pitch black ooze congealed around a pile of old bones that had been left in the stunning pen. Despite being showered in bullets the thing slowly crept towards the attackers and gored one of them with a tentacle wielding a cow skull like a weapon. As everyone started to flee, Evelyn showered the black mass with water causing some damage before running away as well. Once outside, the investigators fled towards the small river just east of the factory, as the black mass slowly dragged it bones along the ground in pursuit. It initially stopped when at the river bank, but after being taunted by several more salves of machine gun fire it attempted to jump over the stream. Some of its tentacles reached the other side, but its main body landed in the stream and it started to dissolve while trying to pull itself out of the water. Left behind was just a pile of wet old bones, soon drifting towards Narragansett bay... | ||
